    TATYANA KOSHEVAYA, paralega, Russian/Ukrainian Interpreter



    Tatyana Koshevaya is from Russia, former USSR. She migrated to the United States, with
    her family, in 1991.

    Tatyana went to Tacoma community college and graduated with associate degree in
    automated accounting and business after which she joined Tacoma Community House.

    Tatyana was with Tacoma Community House for 14 years. She held several positions while
    employed by Tacoma Community House namely:

    •        Community Advocate
    •        Case Manager
    •        Employment Training Consultant

    As Community Advocate and Case Manager Tatyana had an opportunity of working with
    Immigrants and Refugees, helping them to settle in the community by helping them to find
    shelters and jobs.

    While holding these positions, Tatyana also liaised with employers and various Immigration
    Rights organizations.

    Tatyana is a member of Roundtable, an Immigration Rights Advocates Organization in
    Tacoma, Washington.

    Tatyana has been a paralegal and Russian/Ukrainian Interpreter for the Law Office of
    Michael Ewetuga for 2 years.

    Tatyana attended a number of trainings which helped her in understanding the workings of
    the legal system in Washington as well as Immigration Laws.

    EDUCATION:

    Tacoma Community College - Associate Degree in Automated Accounting and
    Business, 1994-1998.
    Irpen Industrial Technical College - Associate Technical Degree in Opencast Mining, 1975-
    1979
